My name is Elena Sylven. I am a tomboy gone rogue, but also a wife to my supportive husband Ken who goes along with all of my shenanigans. Together we are pawrents to a sassy shih tzu named Ziva.
I was born and raised in Grande Prairie, Alberta and from Sucker Creek First Nation, a small Indigenous Community in northern Alberta along with 6 younger siblings. 7 Badgers is derived from my maiden name ( Badger) and I am the oldest of 7 children.
As a plus-sized girl, I was frustrated with trying to find trendy and fashionable clothes in my size. I was continuously discouraged with shopping as most stores only cater to the average body type.

I am the oldest of 7 children in the Badger family! My siblings and I are very close - camping and family fun are some of my favourite things.

I love to travel, try different restaurants and foods.
Hockey is my Favorite Sport to watch. ( It's actually the Battle of Alberta at my house, my Husband Ken is a Flames fan and I definitely support the Oilers.)
I like to sit around a cozy campfire with a glass of wine and just enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
I am a sucker for country and rock music and have enjoyed many concerts. I am a country girl at heart living in the city.
